Leah’s career began in the mid-90s at AccuWeather, where she designed newspaper graphics while she was still a student at Penn State University. Upon graduating from their graphic design program in 1998 she went on to work for two different design agencies, learning “the ropes,” before becoming an independent contractor in 2004. She has developed a myriad of print and interactive publications, from websites and magazines to trade show displays and marketing campaign collateral. She serves clients in the higher education industry as well as in the private business and nonprofit sectors. Leah is capable of producing graphics and layouts for virtually any medium. In addition to her graphic design work, she assists with copywriting and editing, image acquisition and photo editing, and helps to determine what types of publications make sense for her clients’ unique situations. She is comfortable taking on the role of art director and is equally content following someone else’s lead.
Leah grew up in southeast Pennsylvania, then spent many years in State College, PA before moving west to Arizona in 2011. A simple, one-word answer explains her reason for moving: sunshine. She currently resides in the small town of Cottonwood where she enjoys hiking the rugged landscapes and floating in the Verde River with her dog, Rodeo.
